How does it work?
Sign up for a league.
Pay your entry fee.
You’ll receive an invite to join your league in Fantrax within 48 hours that will have your draft date and time.
Draft your team and compete for the title.
You win the chip, you double your buy-in. League Champions will be contacted for pay out of their winnings.
Do I get to pick my draft date and time?
The direct answer here is not yet. As we grow, we will create a larger hosting platform where members will get to pick their date and time along with other players. But, the short version is we don’t have the capacity to offer that quite yet.
Do I get to customize the league settings?
Again, not yet. As we grow, our new platform will support multiple league styles and rules. However, the goal for now is to get members playing and making a difference. But, customization is on the horizon.
Who’s the commissioner of my league?
We don’t offer private leagues yet, so all leagues are supervised by Starfish Fantasy Sports. If you’re having a technical issue with the Fantrax site or app, you can contact them directly. If you have any questions or concerns otherwise, you can contact Starfish Fantasy Sports.
Is Starfish Fantasy Sports a 501c3 Nonprofit?
No. At this time the financial particulars are that the money gathered from buy-ins are solely used for winners’ shares, a small operations budget, and everything else is going straight to the foundations and charities we support.
What charities are supported by Starfish Fantasy Sports?
We will have a full page up on our website soon detailing more information on our involvement, but currently the target organizations Starfish Fantasy Sports is partnering with will be Every Kids Sports, Women’s Sports Foundation, Fuck Cancer, Vet Tix, and Rise Above the Clouds. For now, feel free to visit their websites for more information on the work they are doing.
Can I pay more money into Starfish Fantasy Sports above my league buy-in?
Currently, no. We will have opportunities to do so in the future.
